ABOUT US
TOUGHLOVE NZ is a unique national organisation which focuses on parents of teenagers and provides on-going support for as long as required. It operates a national network of support groups which meet once a week. Thousands of parents in New Zealand have benefited from the ToughLove programme. TOUGHLOVE has operated in New Zealand since 1984. It was started in the USA in 1979 by David and Phyllis York, psychologists, family therapists and authors, and above all, caring parents who formed ToughLove following their own family crises. It is now an international organisation.
